There is a broad range of services available through the College that includes email, file storage, computer labs, a remote portal, web hosting, and a computing helpdesk to provide assistance with questions related to information and instructional technology. The CAHS Designer Toolbox provides faculty and staff with the guidelines and resources needed to create documents using the official CAHS and CSU brands.
The Guidelines section includes the following information:

- How to use CSU and CAHS department marks

- How to design within the CSU "brand"

The College maintains the computer labs used by students. Faculty can reserve these labs for the purposes of classroom instruction. Students can access their M: drives from ANY of the College Computer Labs. Get more information about the student computer labs.
eCAHS is a web-based portal that allows access to a virtual desktop which provides you with access to your M: drive and other network storage (P:, S:, X:, and W: drives), as well as numerous software applications including the Microsoft Office Suite, EndNote, and many more. Because eCAHS is web-based, members of our college can access thier documents and technology services from locations across the world.

| The M:, P:, X:, S:, and W: drives provide a place to store your files that can be accessed from virtually anywhere. They are located on the central College servers, and are backed up to tape storage on a regular schedule. |
| M: Drive | Each faculty, staff, and student in the College is provided with file storage space on the College servers. This space is accessible from any computer in the College and is referred to as the M: drive. |
| P: Drive | Each department is provided a common shared file space referred to as the P: drive (DepartmentName_Share). The P: drive is accessible by all the faculty and staff for the specific department. Permissions also can be set by the College IT group on certain directories in this drive to limit access to specified individuals. |
| X: Drive | The entire College is provided a common shared file space referred to as the X: drive (CAHS_Share). The X: drive is accessible by all the faculty and staff in the College of Applied Human Sciences and is an excellent way to share information between departments or administrative units. Permissions also can be set by the College IT group on certain directories in this drive to limit access to specified individuals. |
| S: Drive | Faculty, Staff, and Students are provided a common shared file space referred to as the S: drive (Student_Share). The S: drive is an excellent way to share files between faculty/staff and students. The S: drive now includes a folder for every class in CAHS. Included in this folder will be:
- Instructor Folder - Syllabus, notes, etc(Instructor-Read/Write access, Students-Read)
- Student Folder - Information sharing (Instructor-Read/Write access, Students-Read/Write)
- Assignments Folder - Drag and drop assignment submission (Instructor-Read/Write access, Student-View Contents)
All students are automatically connected to the S: drive when they login to a CAHS Lab Computer or eCAHS.

The College provides a Helpdesk to help with any technology-related questions. The Helpdesk is staffed from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to contact the CAHS Helpdesk with any computing questions at 970.491.3458.
When ordering technology-related equipment, faculty and staff should work with the College IT group to ensure compatibility and expedite delivery.
