COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT

In 2008, the College of Applied Human Sciences celebrates a monumental mark in our University’s history – the 115th anniversary of Home Economics with the video presentation "A Walk Through Time."

Today, Home Economics has grown to become an interdepartmental program within the College of Applied Human Sciences called Family and Consumer Sciences. Students take coursework primarily in the departments of Human Development and Family Studies, Food Science and Human Nutrition, and Design and Merchandising as well as specific Family and Consumer Sciences courses. While the program has grown in a number of ways, the focus is still firmly grounded in individual, family, and community well-being.

We thank you, our graduates for sharing in the Home Economics legacy.
