Today’s students are passionate about making our world a better place, and our academic programs are empowering them for successful and noble careers in the “people professions.” Today’s students want to improve well-being for people in our communities and around the globe. They are learning how to advance disease prevention, and are dedicated to sustaining rural markets, societies, and our global environment. Do you share this passion?
Your scholarship gift is a powerful way to help students pursue fields that are important to you while making a sustaining mark on many lives. Ultimately, your gift not only touches your scholarship recipients, but will have a wide-reaching, ripple effect on the many people and families that they will go on to serve in their post-academic lives.
In addition to supporting students, your scholarship gift can also honor those who have made a difference in your life. Named scholarships can pay tribute to a loved one or special faculty member, preserve a family name, or highlight a company presence. Scholarships connect the past, present and future!
Each scholarship gift is unique because it is based on your wishes. For example, you may:
- Donate any amount to AHS Students First Scholarship Fund – which awards scholarships to freshman students with high scholastic standing each year.
- Make a gift to one of over 200 existing scholarships in our College. We can help find the right one for you, or you can browse the 2008 Scholarships by clicking here (or for Construction Management scholarships click here).
- Start your own annual scholarship in your name, in memory of a loved one, or in honor of a colleague or former professor. Annual scholarships can be established with a gift of $1,000.
- Establish an endowment to award scholarships for generations with a $25,000 gift, which can be paid at one time or up to five years. With an endowed scholarship, your contributions are invested with the CSU Foundation, and students are awarded scholarships each year from a portion of the earnings. Any remainder is then reinvested in the fund, to preserve and ensure growth of the endowment in perpetuity.
