The College of Applied Human Sciences supports faculty in pursuing outside funding. Research, one of the three charges of a land-grant institution, has established Colorado State University as one of the major public universities in the country, and the College has been a strong factor in building this reputation. Stephanie Ouren, a staff member in the Dean's Office, has been assigned to help faculty pursue research funding. The Associate Dean for Research, Jean Lehmann, serves as an additional resource to faculty in preparing proposals.
The College holds an annual competition for awards to pursue research, scholarly and creative activities for CAHS faculty. The competition is outlined here.
